Biannual Dental Cleaning at Comfort Care Dental

Our dentists are here to help you keep your oral health on track. We recommend our patients come into their local office for routine dental cleaning at least once every 6 months to ensure healthy and happy teeth.

At every routine teeth appointment, we’ll perform a thorough exam to evaluate the status of your oral health at that time. We won’t leave any stone unturned. Biannual exams are important for a number of reasons, but most importantly they’ll help us catch small problems you’re experiencing before they turn into major issues.

After your dental exam, we’ll provide a teeth cleaning to set you up for success over the next 6 months. This cleaning will gently polish your teeth, remove plaque and tartar build-up, and clean between all of your teeth. This will slow decay and, with proper home care, keep your mouth healthy and happy.

Deep Cleaning for Gum Disease

While traditional teeth cleanings and exams work when there is no sign of gum disease, deep cleanings work to actually treat gum disease (AKA: periodontal disease).
