Free Holiday Dental Care in Idaho Falls

Comfort Care Dental is hosting the 7th annual “Smiles from Santa”, a Free Day of Dentistry at our new location: 3550 Washington Parkway, Idaho Falls, ID 83404.

Idaho Falls, Idaho – December 16th , 2011 8am to 2pm – The doctors of Comfort Care Dental, Dr. Philip Harper and Dr. Chris Hansen are out to change lives by offering free urgent dental care to anyone in our community in need, as they host the latest event “Smiles from Santa.”
In the past six years, Dr. Harper, Dr. Hansen and their team of dentists, sponsors and volunteers have helped over seven hundred people in need of dental work – treating patients in need of emergency dental care. This year’s event promises to be the largest yet.

This event was created to aid those in need, including the growing population of under-insured Americans. Over 100 million Americans lack dental insurance and over 50 percent of adults have untreated cavities. Without events like this, dental care simply isn’t an option for many of the uninsured. To date, Comfort Care Dental has provided over $140,000 in free emergency dental care to the Idaho Falls community.

“Now more than ever, we know there are people out there that need our services, but have no means to afford them – whether they’re out of a job, or just don’t have dental insurance. “This event is my way of giving back to the community and being there for the people who are in need of dental work,” said Dr. Phil Harper.

The event will take place on Friday, December 16th at Comfort Care Dental in Idaho Falls. Starting at 8 a.m., Dr. Harper and his volunteers will treat at least the first one hundred patients, or however many we can see before 2 p.m.
